Disney Junior is welcoming April with some wonderful brand new commercial-free programming. Stay tuned to check out their new series this month: Henry Hugglemonster and a very special 30-minute episode of Quest for the Crystal Mickey!
• New Series: Henry Hugglemonster
(Premieres Sunday April 21st, at 12:30pm ET, new episodes Sundays at 12:30pm ET)
More info about Henry Hugglemonster: “Henry is a typical five-year-old middle child who lives in Roarsville. He loves his family, enjoys playing outside with his friends and says exactly what he thinks the moment it pops into his head. He’s just the sort of high-energy kid who might live right down the street or even in your own home. Except, of course, for one small detail; Henry is a monster! Each 22-minute episode of Henry Hugglemonster features two 11-minute stories that take preschoolers and their parents on Henry’s adventures as the young monster plays with his friends and tries his best to get along with his three siblings”
Henry Hugglemonster is produced by Oscar®-nominated animation studio Brown Bag Films (also responsible for Doc McStuffins).
We can’t wait for the premier of this show! Our son LOVES monsters and they kind of remind us of one of his favourite stuffed creatures that he’s had since he was born. This show is sure to be a hit with him.
• Special 30-minute Episode: Quest for the Crystal Mickey
(Premiering Sunday April 21st at 12:00pm ET)
Be sure to set your PVR to start recording right before the premier of Henry Hugglemonster because there will be a special 30 minute episode of Quest for the Crystal Mickey. It looks like it’s going to be an amazing adventure. Don’t forget the magic words: Meeska Mooska Mickey Mouse!
More info about this special episode: “Plunderin’ Pete has snatched the legendary Crystal Mickey statue from the Clubhouse! Worse yet, without the magic of the Crystal Mickey, the Clubhouse starts to sink into the ground, never to be seen again! We have to get that statue back! A nail-biting, high-stakes adventure like this requires an extraordinary hero to lead the way, namely, Kansas City Mickey! With K.C. Mickey in charge, and the help of us at home, not even Plunderin’ Pete’s trickiest traps can keep us from recovering the Crystal Mickey and getting it back just in time to save our beloved Clubhouse”
Exciting shows to look forward to this month! Stay tuned for more Disney Junior news and join the conversation by liking their Facebook page and following them on Twitter.

The monster show sounds great, will be watching.
looks like some fun shows to watch
Hello, OSM. The channel sounds like a dream come true. I have always believed that children should have educational and development based programming for children. I am so happy to see that there is a channel dedicated to teaching and enriching childrens’ lives with tv. It is a long time coming and I hope this one channel will turn into many that provide these necessities for children today. Thank you for this post with great news, One Smiley Monkey.
