Can you believe Christmas is only six weeks away? We will start decorating our home very soon and our Christmas tree will be up on December 1st, I can hardly wait!
I love the holidays and getting into the holiday spirt. When the days get cold I love spending time with my family inside our warm home cooking nice meals, playing board games together or just hanging out while listening to some holiday tunes. I grew up in South America and back home we also listened to holiday tracks during the holidays, they are called “villancicos” there and I play them for my family here as well. I love how I can easily find them on YouTube to share with my family.
Here are some of my favourite holiday songs:

Then after the kids are in bed and our home is quiet I get some time to relax, read and sip a cup of tea. Lately I have been using wireless headphones to listen to my favourite villancicos without disturbing the kids. They are also great to catch up on episodes of The Blacklist on Netflix or even listen to podcasts, if you are not into podcasts and you want to get into them I recommend Serial, so so so good. I wait for it every Thursday with so much anticipation, highly recommended!
The Sony® MDRRF985RK Wireless Headphones are available at Staples.ca for just under $100, they are super comfortable, cordless and they are very lightweight. I love them and they are a great holiday gift idea too!

Jingle Bells, Winter’s Wonderland 🙂
Christmas is not christmas without Santa Claus is coming to town! Love the headphones. My husband is looking for a new pair and this may show up under the tree for home
Great headphone, great price too!
I’ve never really been a Michael Buble fan, but I always associate his voice with xmas, he can sing a great xmas song, so maybe I am a fan lol.
I love Silent Night and The Little Drummer Boy as sung by David Bowie and Bing Crosbie!
I prefer upbeat tunes like Jingle Bells and Here Comes Santa Claus.
wow, only 6 weeks left? I’d better get my Christmas cards for Europe done soon then. I’m not into music at all (tone deaf probably) but I do like to hear the traditional Christmas carols and things like Jingle Bells, I’m dreaming of a White Christmas etc.
Great picks! That Michael Buble CD is so essential and a staple! My favourite “pop” holiday song is n’Sync – Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!
Winter’s Wonderland is by far my favourite
There are so many lovely carols as well as many more up to date Holiday songs. I enjoy them all but after listening to the traditional slow beat ones I often find myself feeling a bit down. Up beat ones for me this year
Some of My Favourites are: I’ll be home for Christmas, Silver Bells, O Holy Night and Silent Night. I love more but cannot remember them now.
I can’t believe it’s Christmas. It came outta nowhere this year. I’d definitely like to have those headphones!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Feliz Navidad is my Moms all time favorite
