I love the hot weather but I am so fair skinned that I worry about burning. I make sure I use sunscreen always and protective clothing when on the golf course…your tips are great and well worth noting. I still am always amazed when I hear about people going to tanning salons…
I am very conscious about the sun and the danger to my kids. I love the UV Skinz line!

Thanks for the great tips!! I cant wait until summer!! Did not know that one blistering sunburn doubles the risk of skin cancer!!
I had no idea that all it took was 1 burn to double chances for cancer! That’s crazy! I need to buy new sunscreen this year still.
Great, useful tips! I am glad that we already do al of those go stay safe in the sun.
Thank you for the insight! so far it’s been dreary and they are calling for a cooler summer i hear in SW ON but we will be going to cuba in july with our toddler and i will certainly invest in a UV swim shirt for him checking out UV skins.. he’s also now starting to actually wear his sunglasses so i hope he keeps that up on our trip!!
awesome tips I will totally do that
Being so fair skinned and so burn easily I just try to keep out of the sun as much as possible
darn, wish I had read this a few months ago! especially being a new mom.. thanks 🙂
very use ful tips!
These are really good tips and very important too! Its always good to start early 🙂
“Examine your skin from head to toe once a month.’–This is a really great tip for detecting skin cancers but I doubt many people do so. I know I will do it from now on because I was always outside when I was a child and no sun protection.
This is really useful.
A lot of good reminders in the list
You can never be too careful with the sun and your children. Come prepared for any senario
I think ‘Teach your kids good sun protection practises.’ is an excellent tip. When you are not present when your child goes outside(at day care or a relative’a ) He should be taught not to go out unless he has sun block on. It should be as natural as brushing his teeth but It may not be as well taught.
You can never be to careful with little ones in the sunshine
Very good advice thanks!…
Oh I will be so happy to see the beach and sunshine
Thanks for the excellent tips
You have to be really careful with young children, even when we think its ok it may still to be hot for them
We will soon need to refresh our minds on these tips, summer is coming !
This is good information. I avoid the sun and use sunscreen, and keep it in my purse. People get used to me putting a little dab on their nose! I make sunhats, too – they are more involved than it looks, but so much fun to wear!
You’ve got such good tips and advice that everyone should pay attention to because the sun is really dangerous for babies and everyone else
This has become a point of contention in our house. Our teenager wants to tan rather than protect her skin. My wife and daughter argue over this far too often.
Thanks for sharing. Very good info to know.
