We just came back from our first-time visit to Providenciales, Turks & Caicos in the Caribbean. I was invited to attend the Beaches Resorts 4th annual Social Media on the Sand conference and I decided to take the kids and my husband with me and make it a family vacation.
We fell in love with Turks & Caicos and we are definitely thinking about future trips back. From the gorgeous, postcard-ready beaches to the amazing food, customer service and family experiences, the trip did not disappoint.
Below I am sharing top 5 reasons why you should consider a trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos as well.
1. World’s #1 Best Beach.
With its gorgeous clear turquoise waters and soft white, powdery sand, there are no questions as to why Grace Bay beach has been voted the World’s #1 Best Beach by TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice awards. The Beaches Turks & Caicos resort is located on a breathtakingly beautiful beach that makes the perfect background for gorgeous photos.
The turquoise waters are also not only stunning but calm, allowing you to dip into the ocean to relax and refresh. Plus, they are perfect for water sports.

2. Truly All-Inclusive Vacation.
Have you ever booked an “all-inclusive” vacation package to realize that many things were actually not included once you arrived at your destination? I have booked a lot of vacations like that in the past and I was used to paying for extras on arrival.
Forget about having to pay any extras while you are at Beaches Turks & Caicos. They really mean it when they say your vacation is all-inclusive.
There is absolutely no tipping allowed at the resort. Employees even wear buttons that say it. It was great not having to worry about always having change with you when going to the restaurants or cafes to pay for tips after every meal. We loved that! WiFi connection, airport transfers and all restaurants are also fully included.
If you love water sports, this is the resort for you. Beaches all-inclusive Caribbean resorts offer the most comprehensive resort diving program, and best of all, it’s all included. They even offer an introductory program, perfect if you’ve never dived before, with all the instruction and equipment you need for dives up to 40 feet. All scuba diving and water sports are included at no extra fee!

3. Kid’s Activities and Camps.
The Beaches Turks & Caicos resort has a variety of activities for the kids of all ages to keep them happy and entertained. Some of our favourites were The Pirates Island Waterpark, the lazy river and the surf simulator (for older children and adults).
They also offer camps that are included in the vacation tailor-made for kids, with age-appropriate activities and supervised by trained staff members.
Beaches Resorts is also the first resort company in the world to complete the rigorous International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) training and Autism Certification. Their Kids Camps offer specialized service to families with children with autism and other special needs. We absolutely love that!

4. The 5-Star Global Gourmet Food.
Beaches Turks & Caicos offers 22 dining options at 21 international restaurants. We didn’t even have a chance to dine at every single one during our week there so that is another good reason to go back. There is a cuisine for everyone, including French cuisine, Oriental, Southwestern, Italian, Caribbean and more, prepared by Chefs from all over the world.
Our favourite lunch spot was definitely the Jerk Shack and we kept going back. Nothing beats eating on the beach with amazing views and delicious flavours. The boys also loved the Mac Daddy food truck that served yummy mac and cheese creations all day long.

5. All Inclusive-Entertainment.
We’ve been to many resorts in the past with minimal nightly entertainment or activities. We found Beaches Turks & Caicos had a variety of live shows and themed parties that kept both adults and children entertained.
Our absolute favourite party was their beach party, featuring a Sesame Street parade, culminating at the beach, where food was served buffet style while performers danced on the beach. The kids loved it, the food was delicious and nothing beats eating outside while listening to live music or watching a performance. Every single night there was something different and special to do.

Turks & Caicos was not a location we have considered before, because we are far away, living in Vancouver, Canada. But now that we have been we are definitely considering travelling there again. We travelled to Toronto first and then there was a direct flight from there to Providenciales that was around 4 hours. We travelled with our kids, ages 4 and 8 and we found it was painless.
Price-wise, Beaches Resorts packages are a bit more expensive than other “all-inclusive” packages, but I suggest you research what they actually include vs what’s included at Beaches. You may end up paying a bit more for your Beaches package, but you know there will be no surprise extra charges during your vacation. Maybe something to consider if you are on the fence with regards to pricing. Their motto is also high quality!
